In short

  • Bdemy is a place to learn with online courses and a free Library. It is run by Bdemy Company in Phnom Penh.
  • One account is for one person. Don't share it, copy courses or resell them.
  • Courses are for your own learning. The Library is free to read; downloads need a free account.
  • You can get a refund within 7 days if you watched less than 30% (see the Refund Policy).
  • Instructors keep 80% of sales from their own link and 50% of other sales, paid between the 5th and 10th of each month.

1. About Bdemy

Bdemy (bdemy.co and the Bdemy app) is an online place to learn, run by Bdemy Company, Street 598, Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. By using Bdemy you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Bdemy.

2. Your account

  • One account is for one person. Do not share your login.
  • Give true details and keep your password safe.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • You can ask us to close your account at any time (see Contact).

3. Children and young learners

  • Learners from 7 years old are welcome.
  • Children under 13 use Bdemy with a parent or guardian, who creates or manages the account and makes any payment.
  • Learners 13 to 17 need a parent's or guardian's permission.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for their child's use of Bdemy.

4. Buying courses

  • Prices are shown on each course page. You pay with ABA PayWay or KHQR, or by Wing or cash through our team ("Contact us to enroll" at checkout).
  • After payment, the course is added to My learning.
  • You can watch a course you bought for as long as it is on Bdemy, on your phone or computer.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy: within 7 days, if you watched less than 30%.

5. Using courses and the Library

  • Courses are for your own personal learning.
  • Do not download, record, copy, share or resell courses or their files.
  • The Library is free to read, listen to and watch online, with no account needed. Some files can be downloaded with a free Bdemy account. Files in the Library are for personal study only.

6. Rules for everyone

Do not:

  • break the law, or help others to;
  • harass, threaten or insult other people;
  • upload anything that is false, harmful, hateful or sexual;
  • try to hack, overload or misuse Bdemy;
  • use Bdemy to advertise or sell other things without our permission.

7. Teaching on Bdemy

  • Anyone can apply to teach. Bdemy reviews each course before it is published.
  • Your course must be your own work, or you must have the right to use everything in it (videos, music, books, images).
  • Course descriptions must be true. Do not promise results you cannot give.
  • Bdemy may ask for changes, or decline or remove a course that breaks these terms.
  • You keep the rights to your course. You allow Bdemy to show, sell and promote it on Bdemy and in Bdemy's marketing for as long as it is on Bdemy.

8. Instructor earnings and payouts

  • Your own link: when a student buys your course through your own instructor link, you keep 80% of the full price the student paid.
  • Other sales: when a student buys your course in any other way (Bdemy's site, app, ads or shared links from others), you keep 50% of the full price the student paid.
  • A sale counts towards your earnings once its 7-day refund period has passed. If a sale is refunded, it is not paid.
  • Bdemy does not take payment fees from your share.
  • Payouts are made between the 5th and 10th of each month for the earnings of the month before, by bank transfer to your ABA account.
  • The smallest payout is $20. Smaller amounts move to the next month.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings.

9. Content and copyright

  • Bdemy's name, logo and design belong to Bdemy Company.
  • Courses belong to their instructors. Library files belong to their owners.
  • If you think something on Bdemy uses your work without permission, contact us with the details and we will look into it quickly.

10. When we can limit or close an account

We may warn, limit or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing an account, copying courses or misusing payments. If we close an account by mistake, contact us and we will fix it.

11. Changes to Bdemy and to these terms

We improve Bdemy often. We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. For big changes we will tell you on the site or by message. If you keep using Bdemy after a change, you accept the new terms.

12. Limits of our responsibility

We work hard to keep Bdemy running and correct, but we cannot promise it will never stop or have mistakes. Instructors are responsible for their own courses. As far as the law allows, Bdemy is not responsible for losses that come from using the site, beyond the amount you paid us.

13. Law

These terms follow the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. If there is a problem, please contact us first so we can solve it together.
